Ionamin is used with an overall diet plan to reduce weight. Ionamin capsules are comprised of Phentermine resin. Similar to an amphetamine, Ionamin stimulates the central nervous system (the brain and nerves). It works by stimulating the brain and nerves to increase the heart rate and blood pressure; as a result it decreases the appetite.
